About Us
The dawn of educational awareness in higher education illuminated the horizon of Polasara, a culturally rich and scenic area in the Ganjam district. This transformation began with the establishment of Polasara Science College, which first introduced the Intermediate courses in Arts and Commerce in 1979, followed by the I. Sc. program in 1983. The college was officially inaugurated on August 15, 1979, at Veda Mandira by the esteemed Late Kanhu Charan Nayak, Ex-MLA of the Kodala Assembly Constituency. Today, the college celebrates its 45th year of serving the educational needs of the Panchayat Samiti area and surrounding regions, offering both higher secondary and undergraduate courses in Arts and Science.
